De-Lurking Week

It's time to "de-lurk" and say hi on blogs you read.  I saw mention of it this morning chez Chris, and then just now at Mags's place

Sheryl is the blogger behind De-Lurking Week.

For a while now I've been meaning to post an entry with links to blogs that I like and/or have recently discovered.  So I think de-lurking week is the perfect time to give you some linkage.

Daisy seems to have coined the phrase "blogpimping."  Since I'm essentially doing some blogpimping, I have to give her credit.

Alicat, one of my Flickr contacts, has a blog called Something So Clever AND she just created a monthly online magazine called Very Good Things!  Go Ali!

Anntoinette has just started a blog called Trapped in Trappes.  I just love the tagline in her "About" profile: " An American who married a Frenchman....need I say more?"  No, Anntoinette, you don't.  At least not to me.

Another Américaine-married-to-a-Français is misschrisc of A Pretty How Town

Steph's blog is called digital philtrum.  Isn't that a cool name?  Steph takes some great pictures.  She also writes some interesting commentary.

Suzy Says is the new-ish name of C'est La Bombe!  I found Suzy many moons ago in one of those bloglink clickfests that can happen when you've got time on your hands are procrastinating.  She's a "valeur sûre" in my book.

Schmonnie is my cousin, and after an unexplained hiatus, she's back.  Kitties Are The Best, and don't you forget it.

Slice of Pink is new to me, but can I just say?  The name alone ROCKS.

Go tell Anne you want updates on her cuisine more often.

If you can read French, check out my friend Alain's blog, currently titled "T'as trouvé combien à l'équation?"  If you can't read French, check it out anyway.  Alain always uses a neat image when he posts, when he's not doing a video blog

Finally, since it's de-lurking week, please leave me a comment.

I'd love to hear from you.

Word on the street is that this is National Delurking Week. The idea is that you should leave a comment on sites that you frequent - especially if you don't normally comment. So, don't be surprised if you see me pop up in the comment section of a weblo... [Read More]

Happy DLW!! May you get millions of wonderful comments from non-creepy lurkers!

It's freakin' spooky that we posted about this at almost the same time.

Oh, and hello! How are you? ;)

Present!

happy de-lurking week!!

I checked out your friend Alain's blog, and it is really easy to read. That is, if I could read french. ha!

Hello! And Happy New Year!

Happy Delurking Week! What a fun idea. :o)

I'm so happy to find you.

Inspired by your previous "No football" post, it is my duty as a loyal 'Burgher to let you know that: 1.) the Stillers beat the Bengals yesterday, and, thus, 2.) are going ALL THE WAY, baby! :)

Hello to Ali, who inspires me often with her photos and thoughts. And who introduced me to stats. Love 'em.

Well...if you would keep that "special picture up"...ya know?!-) <--lurker smilie I guess.
An I ain't talkin boogers!

Delurking to say hello and to also share that I did, indeed, get the Nikon D50 for Christmas after all. It arrived today and now I need to read that darned manual to figure out how to use it! LOL

Mici pour la pub !

Hi Ali!!!

...and I love to leave you comments.

Hello! BTW, my approach to my best dishes is the same as yours to your quiche, which is why I can't really blog them properly...

Yo.

Always you are on my list! I've taken a break from my self-absorbed writing, but never from the reading! Cheers!

As I said to Allan just a moment ago, "I rarely lurk. Even if it's just a "have a nice day" comment. In my experience, it seems like people really like comments."

Have a nice day

98% of this post is false.

1. I've never seen this blog before in my life.
2. I Googled 'ass' and found your blog.
3. There is a shrine to France in the back seat of my car.
4. Food sucks.
5. You say 'Sufjan Stevens' way too much.
6. Remember me from the rowing team?
7. I am not a lurker.

Is it sad that for a second I thought people were saying hi to me?? :(

thanks for the mention, happy delurking week!

I'm a lurker, and a perverted one at that. But in a nice way...

HI!

I hope all is well with you. Sounds like you and Allan and the Bamberboos had a lovely time together....

Errr......ummm...

Hi Ali.

I am HERE!

sorry been a while, on dial up and you have a heavy blog!

Not lurking.. Just saying Hello! Good luck with the moving process.. Take care!

I'm a week late with my comment but that still counts for something, right?
While lurking in a forum on radio pardise a few months ago, I became curious about the love story I detected when some members were telling you and allan to "get a room". :)
I've been reading your blog regularly since then. I'm so happy you get to move to be with your lover!
Good Luck with the relocation*
Yvonne

Thanks for the new blog links! Been to them and left little messages, 'I was sent by Alison, the Blog QUEEN!' *LOL*
