I don't miss the snow! I'm actually waiting to see if the space shuttle launches tonight, that's whats new oh and about the crash but I've stopped sobbing over that now!

Something happened this afternoon with the weather. All of a sudden the wind started blowing. It's like 20 degrees colder than it was this morning.

I think I should run to the store for wine and cigarettes.

I ran into a ditch on the way home tonight and had to be pulled out by some random dude. The road was a sheet of ice, so it couldn't have been avoided really. And then the salt truck came by about 5 minutes after I slid into the ditch. Made it home, though. I had been in balmy Mexico for 10 days and could not wait to get back. Be careful what you wish for.

What's going on with me? Right now I am creatively blocked. That is me. It sucks. :)

Margaret

I feel like a wimp when I complain about 40 degrees here. You must have to stay indoors a lot. BRRRR! Try to keep warm.

I might be selling a piece of jewelry.

I'm going to do a practice run for cooking Brussels sprouts tonight so I don't mess them up for christmas dinner. Found a nice recipe that combines them with petis pois and lemon butter.

It's finally getting cold in France, too. They're predicting mega wind today. I'm off to the market to buy a roasted chicken, easy lunch today :)

I'm cold, too, and I'm overly caffeinated because I keep drinking more hot coffee in an attempt to not be cold. That's how my day is shaping up-- lots of umph, but no desire to go anywhere. Who knows, I may start running laps around the inside of the house as a way of staying warm and being entertained. That'd be something to do at least.

It was 27 degrees this morning. The cold weather cuts through you like a knife. Reminds me that I am so glad that I am still alive. Thank you, God.
